Capfun IJsselstrand is located in Doesburg and has direct access to a river with a sandy beach. It offers spacious camping pitches and fully equipped accommodation for rent.

The water park consists of a swimming pool with a fun slide and a paddling pool with tumbling buckets. All this under a canopy that can be slid open, so you can swim in any weather. The sandy beach by the river completes the swimming fun. 
For children there is plenty to do, including a cool indoor playground. In addition, they can go for fun pony rides at De Oldenhave farm, which is in the middle of IJsselstrand. For even more animal fun, they can take a trip to Burgers' Zoo in Arnhem, which is just a 25-minute drive away.
Doesburg is located at the point where Achterhoek, Veluwe and Liemers meet. You can clearly see the rich history in this beautifully restored Hanseatic city. Visit the mustard museum or the crafts centre De Gildehof. The campsite is also a good base for a visit to Arnhem, which is less than half an hour away.
For nature lovers, this is the ideal spot. There are many cycling and hiking possibilities in the area and anglers do not even have to leave the park, the fishing rod can be thrown out at the park.


Camping at Capfun Ijsselstrand
Capfun IJsselstrand has 160 spacious camping pitches, so you can enjoy camping here with your tent, caravan or motorhome. The pitches are situated on separate camping fields. They are spacious pitches on grass (minimum 100m2). You can choose a pitch inside or outside the dyke. The pitches in front of the dyke are right next to the water, the sandy beach or the marina. Our pitches on the camping fields are close to the large outdoor swimming pool and our indoor play paradise. We have quiet or more lively pitches available. Something for everyone!
There are four sanitary blocks on the park. Outside the dike, on the waterfront, there is another simple toilet unit. For each camping pitch, 10 ampere electricity is available.


Camping packages for the May holiday
You can camp at camping Ijsselstrand for a reduced price during the May holiday. Contact the park itself (ijsselstrand@capfun.com) for prices and conditions. 

On this campsite the Fun Dose is blue. This means it's a lively campsite. In july and august, we offer the following :

- The Clapou Club for 4–12 year olds welcomes your children Monday–Friday from 10 a.m.–12 p.m. and from 3 p.m.–5 p.m.

- The Nobodys (13-17 years old) meet at least once a week.

- Two or three activity leaders are present on the campsite all summer. Sports tournaments and friendly entertainment are organised throughout the day.

- Three big night events are organised per week, we will also surprise you with our top secret entertainment and the summer dance.
